Bob's Story

I'm just an old steel worker from Ohio that played with telephones for 30 years and decided to live a stress free life and to be a nice guy to all regardless of how many jerks I meet.

Not yet!

Have I ever told you how I hate going to doctors.  They think they are so important, and they are.  But their admin staff think they are even more important and don't really care.  I'm dealing with two doctors who have told me they would take of something.  However, either they are not passing on the information to their important, don't give a darn staff or the doctor's are lying.  If I had to bet, I'm betting the doctor's staffs are the problem.  And I'll bet the doctor's don't know their staffs blame them.

Why do I think this.  I had the same conversation with the same admin person three times with the same responses like it was our first conversation.  Finally after the third conversation something got done.  Even though she was never very nice, I was very, very nice every time.  I wanted to ask her what she missed during our first two conversations and why am I telling the same thing, but I didn't.  I just don't think she gives a darn.

As most of you know I have some very important business to accomplish in July.  The way things are going I may be on crutches.  I have been trying my best to get everything completed, take every test they want me to take, meet every doctor they want me to meet, and still they will not give me a date to cut up my foot.  I have even told them I would hand deliver papers and approvals and tests and whatever they wanted, and still no date.  It will be 4 to 6 weeks after they cut me until I'll be able to use my foot.  I'm running out of time.

OK, I feel a little better now.  I needed to vent a little because I don't want to vent on one of the doctor's admin staff and get a bad reputation.  So tomorrow I will call both admin staffs AGAIN and I'm betting both will tell me the other doctor is holding everything up and have lots of excuses why they can't get the proper paperwork to where it needs to go, even though I have offered more than once to hand carry it.

On a brighter note, Les and I visited with our British cousins this past weekend and we had a great time.  Pictures will be posted on the blog with I get some time.  Maybe after the cruise pictures.
