Annual Check-up
I went the the doctor today for my annual check up which was about 16 months after my last one. Did I ever tell you I hate going to a doctor, hospital, clinic, dentist or any where that has to do with health. you feel good going in, but there are always sick people hacking and coughing, etc., all over the office. If you don't have anything going in, you will when you come out.
And why do you even have to have an appointment. You know you'll wait forever while who knows what's going on behind the closed doors. I waited over an hour to get into a room with a closed door and then 30 more minutes reading the medical junk hanging on the wall before the doctor came in. He took about 10 minutes to go over my blood work, check to see if I was breathing, stick a finger where it shouldn't be stuck, and tell me I'll live and have the the health of a 56 year old man. I have no idea what that means, but since I'm 64, I assume that's good.
My next check up will be after I'm 65, so I guess Uncle Sam (medicare) will tell me how or if I get one.
