Surgery
All the pre-surgery stuff has been completed. The cutting and sewing is scheduled for Tuesday, April 2. I will probably spend one night in the hospital.
The first two weeks a nurse and physical therapist will come to the house to change the bandage and work on my knee.
I have a follow up appointment with the surgeon Wednesday, April 27 and start physical therapy at a rehab facility thereafter.

We'll be thinking about you tomorrow.
How are you doing? I haven't kept up on reading the blogs, lately. You'll be glad you did the surgery after all is said and done. Having had hip replacement in Nov. 2012, I am so glad I did. It will take about a year to get back to normal, doc says. By then I hope the other hip doesn't go. When you get your handicap sign you'll love it. I still have till the end of April and I find that on rainy days or "quick run in and out of the store" days I find it very useful. Take care and do make sure you complete the PT. It will make a big difference because , there, you have to do it. At home, maybe not so much.
